Notes
A metal of the sulfur group. It is normally added in its pure form to glass batches as a coloring agent for rose or ruby glass or to act as a decolorizer against green iron.
Selenium is also introduced from sodium selenite (Na2O SeO2) or barium selenite (BaO SeO2).
