Notes
LiAlPO4(OH,F)
A phosphorous-rich lithium mineral which typically occurs in spodumene deposits. It has a creamy-white/pale yellow raw color. It is marketted to the pyroceramics industry for tile, tableware and sanitary ware as a source of lithium and phosphorus.
Particle size: trade on 28 mesh, 1% on 42 mesh, 20% on 200 mesh.
The role of phosphorus in ceramic glazes and bodies is not well understood by most ceramic engineers and technicians.
