Notes
The PYROPHYL group of mineral products consists of milled co-products of the Andafrac series and various milled combinations of the Pyrofrac and Andafrac series. The broad range of alumina contents allows for both whiteware and refractory applications.
Pyrophyl is a high melting material and is used to reduce hot load deformation and improve volume stability in refractories. It is used in foundry mold and core wash formulations, technical ceramics, structural clay coatings, art pottery.
This material is dry milled and magnetically separated.
