Formula weight: 179.90 (Anhydrous FW: 143.87)
Somewhat hygroscopic -- keep in sealed container.

This material is being researched by Jon Singer as a secret to the production of a copper red glaze. His comments are:

-Oxalic acid sublimes at 157C.
-This is Ferrous, so if you knock off the waters and the oxalic acid you get FeO, FW 71.844.
The LOI should be 60.06%.
-There is reason to believe that this material causes some _in-situ_ reduction.
-If I make a Copper Red glaze with this stuff, it reds up beautifully; if I make essentially the same
glaze with FeO, it mostly just turns pink. OTOH, that could be caused by some other kind
of magic going on.)
